Today’s Message: “Lost and Found”
Luke 15: 1-10 and Luke 22:19, Hebrew 9:14, Psalm 14
Intro and Prayer: Do you remember playing “hide and seek” as a child and you were the one that no one was able to found? What did that feel like? Maybe you got lost at the mall or got separated from friends at a concert or in the park or lost your way in a storm or hurricane and you felt all alone. When you were reunited with loved ones, did you thank God for being found? Today’s reflection titled “Lost and Found” will offer moments to think about how Jesus seeks to find the lost and the least in a world where it appears that everything goes. Are you lost and you are hoping that someone is looking for you today?
Take a moment to hear God’s Word for us today through Psalm 14 and Luke 15 from the Bible Experience. This is the Word of God…let us pray.
Gracious Lord, you made today and we are blessed by your creation. Lord, you covered us with your love and we thank you. Keep us dear Lord as you renew our lives after the storm. Keep us in your perfect peace so that we may be strengthened through these recent trails and tribulations. Turn our sadness into joy and keep us from all hurt, harm and danger. Cover us time and time again with your grace, love, mercy and forgiveness. Hear our prayer Lord. Amen.
